When this is what you bringg coffee to work in, you know it's Monday.
And I'm still sleepy after drinking about 1/4 of it. :( This damn kid is making my peaceful sleep impossible.
This weekend we painted our living room and fireplace. Yes, we painted the brick fireplace. I kept geting weird looks and "tsk tsk" sounds from "design savvy" people when I mentioned painting our HUGE brick fireplace, but, true to form, I did it anyway. It looks amazing!! I can't believe how much it has changed the feel of that room. I'll have to post pictures soon to see what you guys think. But we love it. I don't know why everyone thinks it's so taboo to paint brick. If it's ugly, it's ugly. Period.
I had my first Braxton Hicks contractions over the weekend too. They were not pleasant. After I was complaining about them for a couple of minutes, my Jew made me look them up online so he could see what they "were" and the medical deifnition cites them as being "painless." Wha? No. These hurt. And if real contractions are going to be exponentially worse, then my decision to have an epidural is already made. I'll stick it out as long as I can, but I'm no masochist.
I hope everyone had a good weekend! :)
